Transportation for Students to Men’s Basketball Games at Capital One Arena

Georgetown Athletics is happy to announce improvements and additions to the options for student transportation to and from men’s basketball home games at Capital One Arena!

Getting to Capital One Arena

Take a Free Bus Directly to Capital One Arena (Open to All Students)

All current Georgetown undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to take a free direct bus to Capital One Arena.*

• For each home game at Capital One Arena*, there will be a number of direct buses leaving at approximately fifteen minute intervals starting 60-75 minutes before the game (see below for the exact bus schedule)
• No advance sign-up is required
• Direct buses will depart from outside of Hoya Snaxa (between Hoya Snaxa and Cooper Field). Buses will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Please note that there is no guarantee that the buses will arrive before tip-off or in time for those with student section tickets to receive wristbands

*Direct buses will not be available for the following Capital One Arena home games: 12/22 vs. Little Rock, 12/29 vs. Howard, 1/5 vs. St. John’s. All seats are subject to availability

Returning from Capital One Arena

Take a Free Bus Directly from Capital One Arena Back to Campus Following the Game (Open to All Students)
All current Georgetown undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to take a free direct bus from Capital One Arena back to campus!

• For each home game at Capital One Arena, there will be a number of direct buses, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Buses will depart Capital One Arena on 6th Street NW (near the corner of 6th Street NW and F Street NW)
• Buses will begin boarding after the conclusion of the game
• Buses will depart either when full or at 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game
• Each student will be asked to show his/her GOCard when boarding the bus

*Direct buses are available for all Capital One Arena home games except: 12/22 vs. Little Rock, 12/29 vs. Howard, 1/5 vs. St. John’s. All seats are subject to availability
